Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC): Basic Awareness Training
Course Overview
Though often invisible to the naked eye, infectious hazards can have a devastating impact on our health. Infectious hazards may exist in any type of workplace. It is everyone’s responsibility (e.g. employer, supervisor, and worker) to recognize and control these hazards with the same diligence as other workplace health and safety hazards. This course is relevant for all workers, across all sectors in Ontario.

- How infections are spread
- What steps you and others can take to prevent and control infections in the workplace
This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete
A passing grade of 80% or higher required. Up to 3 attempts are provided.
A certificate will be provided upon the successful completion of this course
