We think it, fine to take risks , go skydiving if you want to, or drink some milk past the expiration date if you’re feeling especially daring , but there, no good reason to take unnecessary risks in a place where accidents are so frequent and often extremely serious.
Course Overview
Every 7 seconds, somebody gets injured on the job , and of the top 5 places where people most commonly get injured, four of them are in industrial workplaces. We think it, fine to take risks , go skydiving if you want to, or drink some milk past the expiration date if you’re feeling especially daring , but there, no good reason to take unnecessary risks in a place where accidents are so frequent and often extremely serious.
That, why we developed the Creating a Safe Industrial Workplace video series, a dynamic and highly entertaining educational course designed to help you avoid the most common (and most dangerous) accidents that happen in industrial locations. If you’d rather not be electrocuted or pass out from lack of oxygen or fall off a roof into a pile of jagged metal, then we’ve got you covered.
Now it, true that safety is no laughing matter. But that doesn’t mean you can’t laugh while we talk about it. Safety training is often about as much fun as power washing your deck, but we’ve loaded these videos with enough jokes, skits, and stupidly ridiculous actions that you should manage to have a little fun. We don’t want you to die anymore than you do, and we’d hardly be doing our jobs right if you accidentally died from boredom.
So kick back, find some popcorn, and get ready to enjoy our Creating a Safe Industrial Workplace series. Because at The Jeff Havens Company, we offer serious solutions in a seriously funny way.

Proper Lifting Techniques
- This video will help you avoid a potentially life-changing back injury, unless you ignore everything we tell you. You’ll learn why proper posture is such a big deal (hint: it, not just because it looks good), and you’ll also see a bunch of stupid ways to lift things that you’ve probably done yourself.
Working Safely in Confined Spaces
- Working in a confined space presents some unique safety issues, and this video will help make sure your experience is a safe and ordinary one. This video also revives an epic sports rivalry, and you’ll learn about one of the most popular activities sweeping the planet these days.
Working Safely from Heights
- They say it, not the fall that kills you, it, the sudden stop. Well, we don’t want anything to kill you, which is why this video will teach you essential safety practices when working off the ground. You’ll also see what happens when you push your workers too far. And there might be some wild screaming in this one too.
Slips, Trips & Falls
- Except for motor vehicle accidents, falls at work are the most common form of workplace injury. This video will help you recognize various falling hazards and take some simple steps to prevent injury. We’ll also cover some very ineffective ways to prevent slips, trips & falls, and there might be several people going up and down stairs with varying degrees of success.
Fire Prevention
- Fire is awesome. But it also sometimes burns things we don’t want it to, like buildings or ourselves. That, why this video will help make sure you stay as safe as possible when working with fire or near heat sources.
Preventing Electrical Shock
- Electricity is an amazing thing, but it doesn’t feel good when it, racing through you. That, why we made this video, to help ensure that you know how to stay safe around electricity. From frayed cords to overhead power lines to the dangers of taking baths with electrical appliances, this video has it all! Except for squirrels. We couldn’t find any while we were filming.
